The NEW NORMAL consortium is a dynamic collaboration bringing together four universities, two municipalities, and two SMEs. Our diverse expertise spans geography and spatial planning, traffic engineering, logistics, and electronic engineering. Together, we are pioneering a groundbreaking approach to urban mobility in 169 second-tier and emerging first-tier cities across the EU and China.
Our innovative efforts are focused on creating tailored MaaS-Lanes (Mobility as a Service) for Xi’an, China, and Nijmegen, the Netherlands. By working closely with our partner municipalities, we aim to transform these cities into models of efficient and sustainable urban transport.
But our vision extends beyond these cities. We are developing knowledge hubs and an interactive GIS database, offering invaluable insights on 169 cities for scientists and decision-makers. Additionally, our online platform empowers citizens to engage with and benefit from our cutting-edge mobility solutions.
